This one day seminar will take a holistic look at keeping pet dogs healthy including
covering some of the ‘controversial’ topics such as vaccinations, other preventative
health medicines, and diets as well as considering how stress, sleep, exercise and
play all contribute to the physical and emotional health of our beloved pets.
Amber, a vet of nearly 20 years, promises to offer a balanced, unbiased presentation
so that as dog owners we can make well informed decisions about how best to cater
for all the needs of our furry companions.
This event will be accessible for everyone - owners will be able to apply what they
learn to their own animals and professionals will be better able to respond to queries
their clients might have.

The speaker: Amber qualified as a vet from the Royal Veterinary College, London in
1999. With a strong interest in behaviour she began undertaking additional behaviour
and welfare qualifications the following year and has been undertaking private behaviour
consultations and teaching since the early 2000's.
Amber has worked in veterinary practice since qualifying and has also undertaken
regular work with welfare organisations including as an expert legal witness in courts
Amber believes passionately that animal welfare benefits from increased education
and aims to help provide this by offering scientifically up to date information in
an easy to understand, practical format suitable for pet owners and animal professionals
