Suzanne Rogers (Learning About Animals) is an animal welfare consultant with extensive
experience in a wide range of consultancy roles. Through Learning About Animals she
hosts a network of experts across all areas of animal behaviour and welfare available
for consultancy and speaking opportunities.
All of the consultants partnering with us have proven experience in their field but
more importantly are more than passionate about their work. These people will work
all hours of the day, going beyond the call of duty to ensure the work done is the
best it can possibly be because we ultimately care about animals, like working with
people, and want to contribute to projects that aim to improve animal welfare; whether
directly or as part of longer term endeavours. Just some of the specialist topics
we can provide support for are listed below and these topics go across all species
from wildlife and conservation, to farm animal welfare, to comprehensive humane companion
animal management, to working equines, to animals used for experimentation.
Whether you need some ad hoc professional advice, a training workshop or a much larger
project, we can put you in touch with the individual best suited to your needs. There
is no charge to you - the consultant pays a very small commission fee (only £10!)
to Learning About Animals for any work successfully secured this way, and the same
amount for charity too as we can never resist an opportunity to raise money, we just
ask that you go through LAA to approach these people or mention the LAA consultancy
network specifically if you contact them directly.
