Have you wanted to explore clicker training with your horse but got stuck with all
the information out there? Have you tried using the approach but become unsure or
unstuck? Or are you a seasoned clicker trainer who wants to more deeply explore the
technical and ethical elements? This event will be of interest whatever your level
or current understanding.
Catherine and Suzanne have been clicker training horses for over ten years and we
would like to share with you some of the things we have learnt on our journeys. We
are geeky enough to want to share the science but having introduced so many horses
and clients to the clicker over the years we want to take you deeper to explore some
of the questions we have had about using this approach, and how we have explored
them. The day will cover some of the science but will quickly move onto a much more
in depth look at the advantages, pitfalls and ethics of using clicker training with
your own horse or that of clients you might work with.
This will be a unique opportunity to be part of a small group (max 8 people) workshop
exploring clicker training horses in a way that is not typically done. There will
be practical demonstration elements, interactive bits and presentations throughout
the day with lots of opportunity for frank and open discussion.
Please let me know at time of booking if you require a certificate of attendance
of the course for your records.
